How to add a typewriter effect

Import the template into your timeline. Open the After Effects project, install the .mogrt in Premiere Pro from Graphics and Titles, or double click the .drfx for DaVinci Resolve, then drag it above your footage.
Type your line and set the speed. Replace the placeholder text, choose letter or word typing, and set when it starts and how fast it runs so it finishes before your voiceover moves on.
Add a typing sound. Lay a typewriter sound under the reveal, trim it to the same length, and add a ding when the line ends.
